Morning Breeze bB SS-605 Soprano Saxophone

This small, curved-tube soprano saxophone with gold brass is actually a brass instrument, but we often refer to it as a gold brass saxophone. Its tone is more resonant than that of a typical brass instrument, yet not as bright as a phosphor bronze instrument. The timbre is neither dull nor harsh.

Unlike straight-tube soprano saxophones, this one features variable velocity settings, making it easier to control. When the saxophone is pointed toward the player, the sound is reflected directly into the ear, making it very comfortable to play, and the pitch and tone are excellent. I’ve experienced many small, curved-tube soprano saxophones abroad, but overall, few compare to this one.
